The biggest problem is that the game had all this fantastic writing, but no one remembers it. Seriously, GLaDOS was an amazing character when you think about it.

But no one does this about it, they just spout "OMG CAKE!!!1", which has by now lost all meaning.

In my experience Savage 2 suffers quite a bit from being overcomplicated. The UI is far too cluttered for the type of game it's trying to be, and there are usually NO games running that are easy to join. Getting a game started from scratch involves some bizarre process of jumping in and out of 'practice' games several times until enough people agree on a commander, or more people log in. Plus, it's just genuinely hard to figure out what's going on.

These are only my expriences, and I plan on playing more. But that's hard to do when TF2 basically trounces this game in terms of class-based, team focused FPS gameplay.

I was a litter unsure too, but now I'm slightlier more exciteder about the game.

Too bad the Wii version sucks large Alien tentacles. Seriously, if it's still sealed, you have no idea how horrid the controls are.

And do we know this teaser is actually in game footage? Knowing these guys, I call Bullshot.

I understand not wanting to pay money for a feature that is, in many other cases, free.

But have you seen the alternatives on consoles currently? Regardless of what the future may hold, right now Live is the best thing out there, and well worth the price of admission. Later on, this may not be the case, though.

Let's not forget Perfect Dark Zero, people. Man, I was so hyped for that game, and what a disaster it was. It was no indication of the games yet to come, though. The 360's well worth owning despite the terrible failure of Rare.
