I dunno about you, but if I was still a kid and I asked for a Wii or a 360 and my parents instead got me some vtech thing... I'd stab'em with an icepick. Okay, maybe not an icepick, but I'd probably sell it for drugs to cope with the loss of my hopes and dreams.

It's not just wal-mart, guys. I live on Ft Stewart, GA and the PX here has had it in for a week now. I just watched someone buy it not a half-hour ago. I didn't even realize it was early. (I dun own a PS2)

Fallen soldier remembered for Halo ownage

@ anti-war commentors.

I very much understand your opinions, but I think your looking at things the wrong way. The fact that you don't believe in the war effort or because you think we were wrong to overthrow Saddam is irrelevant. This article isn't about the war. It's about a soldier. A man who underwent serious hardship, exhaustive training, and eventually even died for what he BELIEVED in. That's what's important. Not the political views on a war, but a soldier who deserves to be remembered. You don't have to support the war to support your brothers, sons, fathers in the armed services. I don't agree with everything the gov't tells me, but when you are over there and you see these kids in a classroom that they didn't even have two years ago all come running out to thank you and talk to you with their smiling faces. Dammit that makes it all worth while. People tend to forget what were fighting for. we fight for the children. so that they too can one day have the same chance at life that we did. If you don't agree with this, fine. But don't take it out on the memory of a good man doing what he thought was right. PFC Madras, God Bless.

Dell drops two new XPS models; one big, one small

Pretty nice rigs, but most people I know who would understand what all the specs meant would much rather build their own custom machine than buy some prefabricated one-size-fits-all comp. It's enjoyable. (like any hobby) it's customized to your needs, and it cheaper that way. I built my rig in march. (it's about halfway between the enhanced black fighter jet model and the uber-monster red thing from beyond the moon model. All accessories included it ran me about $2100. Not too shabby at all. I probably could have done it even cheaper, but i was impatient and didn't want to wait on shipping on the parts.

Austin Austin Austin.... you got it all wrong, man. I got the 4000 dollars worth of electronics sitting on the desk made of LEGOS. Not Cinderblocks! I'm a geek, not a carpenter. sheesh!

Saw some screen shots of Scurge off of gamespot, and I got to say that the screenshots off of the Industrial looking stage remind me of starcraft more than just a little bit. Anyone else notice this?
