I was about to rant about how, "I'm going to stop buying Capcom games until this madness ends!" but then I realized that I haven't bought a Capcom game... jebus... this whole generation! So take THAT Capcom! I'm going to continue to not buy your boring games!

@SnarlingWolf I'm with you, I get the impression that the cloud and streaming technologies are going to be a big part of our future. But, and I'm being honest here, it's a little scary.

I've travelled 2195 miles to go to PAX Prime a few times. Back when I was younger I used to make a five hour drive down to my old gaming clan's annual LAN. We would rent out the ballroom of this hotel and *every* year we would trip their breakers sending half the hotel into darkness. Heh.

It's not our fault, really. After the first year we would ask them if they had upgraded their power and they would say, "Oh yes, it's all taken care of". Of course, they didn't change a damn thing but kept having us back year after year. I suppose they cared more for our money than the inconvenience to everyone else staying there.

Good times...

Hmmm... I *really* like the first Darkness game but I'm *really* unsure about Digital Extremes being able to pull off a worthy sequel.

For what it was, I kind of liked Hellgate. It was fun, but not all that flushed out and polished. Certainly not worth any kind of subscription fee. Still, it had the underpinnings and potential of a great game. Too bad money doesn't grow on trees...

Did anyone not see this coming? Still, don't mods need to go through battle.net? I can't see acti's problem with them creating a cool MMO mod, but they can't call it "world of starcraft". That's just asking for trouble.
