One thing to note - if this does get made into a movie, it doesn't have to be New Line that makes it. New Line doesn't exist as a studio anymore, it's just a label under Warner Bros now. That means Warner Bros owns their assets, and they could chose to make the movie themselves.

Really? I had season-ending bugs in 2007 and vowed to never buy another 2K sports game again. I feel avenged as well :D

Actually, I've seen it. I was at a Blu-ray industry event in LA back in Oct and Panasonic was there with a big trailer containing a 103" plasma and a bunch of glasses. The effect was awesome, just like being in a theater, except afterwards my head hurt. It could have been due to the glasses/3D, or it could have been to the fumes from the truck, but I wasn't the only one that complained about having a headache. Of course the technology isn't finalized (the glasses we were wearing were $300 each), and it wasn't glitch-free, but it was pretty impressive. They had some excellent 3D footage from the summer Olympics in China which was breathtaking, as well as some trailers for 3D movies (Avatar and the Christmas Carol).

Sony will have a similar implementation as Panasonic, though it'll likely have some slight differences as well.

So we STILL can't copy save-protected games from one PS3 to another, even with the fancy new transfer utility. That's extremely lame.

Awesome! I was one of the many affected by this, and it was difficult to wait patiently for a fix. Good to hear it's out now (I'm not at home to enjoy it though).

I'll try the demo, and if I like the game I'll buy it. That'll send a clear message that releasing a demo is good for sales of their game, and hopefully other companies will jump on board. In fact, I may just buy the game to prove that even if I'm not really that impressed with it.

Ack!! I have about 100 hours on the game, and many, many save files (did you know it tops out at 130 files? I hit it) and so I hope they fix this soon. I was one mission away from the original ending of the game when I traded it in. Guess I should go rent the game and finish it the original way, then wait for the patch that'll fix our saves. Annoying.

I'm having a freezing issue, but I don't have any of those items (that I know of).

Now, would deleting the home data mean you have to set up your character from scratch, or is that information stored on Sony's servers?
