I've seen so many uneducated comments I had to pipe in.

1) The game is in HD. Most all HD plasma panels never have EXACT 1280x720...they are 1024x768 and up. Do these sets display HD? YES. There are MANY HD resolutions that you probably have never even considered..especially for broadcast. see http://www.smpte.org/home for more info.
2) The back of the box is correct. The game SUPPORTS the resolutions, it NEVER means the game natively outputs in this resolution. Ex. 1080i/1080p. A majority of games do render in 720p natively, never 1080i. That resolution is always on the box to. Can you imagine how hairy the back of boxes would get if devs put every ACTUAL spec on the back of the box instead of what it actually supports? Come on.

Get over it and enjoy the game for what it is.

ill take a wired ethernet connection over any wireless signal anyday...ESPECIALLY wireless G.

why? it is so very susceptable to interferance, it is rediculous. not reliable when online gaming...especially hosting.

i've seen wireless network devices loose connections completly everytime a microwave is turned on, for example. a cell phone rings.

just like with the un-reliable 360 wireless headset, there are far, far too many 2.4 ghz devices out there these days to make issues.

you're lucky if you don't have any IMO. OR perhaps you can afford to put further basestations/extenders in every room?

the day humans figure out wireless electricity, there may be hope for all our wireless needs. (and of course many less wires) at least something other than 2.4 ghz. :)

Clubhouse games is very fun! Everyone should pick that up!! WiFi..chat support. (like pico chat if you play with friends)
bowling, darts, balance are my fav's so far.
texas holdem', billiards, many card games. cant go wrong.

now that ive tried the 2k7 demo, even without try actualy regular gameplay of the EA NHL other than the shootout demo, i know i will prefer EA's NHL 100 fold.
2k's controls suck. the movement is slow and almost akward. and when you compare the motion captured animations, EA kicks their ass! their animations are much more realistic, as already mentioned here. (goalie movement etc)
NHL 2K7 is no different than gameplay wise, playing say NHL '01 with HD graphics and good sound. nothing new here.

ill take EA's inovative controls.

2k hockey doesnt have a chance in my opinion.

they do need a couple games to keep the busy inbetween the RIDGE RACER!!
