yeah, in a lot of games, you push buttons and THINK... there is no thinking involved in many games....ie: chess is very much a thinking game, rock band is a game about understanding rhythm and developing dexterity (it has a little bit of thinking, but is mostly button pressing), and the only thing that matters in playing an MMO is how long you spending playing (meaning they are the biggest time wasters... but not by much)

you answered your own question... and the answer is still 'money', sadly... lol.... I was quite amazed at how expensive this event was too... i wish when i bought a game at a store, i knew the money went to a developer of the game or something, not some suit at HQ

its crazy just how much money is behind nintendo, because they are so good at appearing to be a 'friendly' 'family' based multi-million dollar corporation.

It's not about the games, its about the companies abilities to make more money by selling extra plastic. Nintendo is also good at doing this.
