Indie Game Music Bundle 2 now available, with Aquaria, Sworcery, more

Feb 10th 2012 2:04AM (Joystiq)
Not only am I getting kick-ass audio for the low, low price of $10+, but I am also getting introduced to a lot of new video games I haven't heard of before, not to mention the artists. I still haven't burned through the last 17 albums, but I'll pile more on fo' sho.

For Giant Bomb's Best New Trend of 2012, I'm betting on 'bundles' to win. Lord knows I've benefited, and - big surprise to people complaining about piracy and the like - so have the developers.

Nice to know the people making the games don't care.

FUDGE YEAH! I was kinda saddened that a Remedy game (that was pimped as a bad-ass open-world PC game) wasn't available on the PC. Finally we get it, and it'll be all the sweeter.

Hopefully they'll execute on the open-world idea in AW2. I'm confident that they can make an engaging narrative while giving the player some wiggle room.

It's so nice of them to not patch it because it might create an unfair advantage to earlier users...

If you plan on lying, don't make it so blatant.

@pacmanwu
3DS cover, sure. When compared to the usual beautiful stylized MGS covers, this is kinda crappy. Reminds me of the NA Ico boxart vs. the Japanese boxart. Obviously, this one isn't as offensive, but simply worse than the usual.

Red Eye, I'm asking you... *sniff*

I'll miss this trio for sure; can't wait to see what Justin and Chris do with their vast knowledge of... whatever they actually learned from this experience. The Endgadget guys went on to make gdgt; maybe Chris and Justin will make vdgms.com.

"Guys! I just found out that Saints Row 3 has got a Nut Shot button!"
"Crap! That's what we're working on! We can't come out with a Nut Shot after Saints Row 3! What can we do?"
"Well, we can turn the enemy models around and call it Butt Kicker..."
"Great! Do it, ship it, put it on the box."

The Binding of Isaac expands with 'The Wrath of the Lamb'

Alright! I've put in about 25 hours (which seems to be on the low end around here, looks like) and it's still as fresh as it was the first time. I was playing with the menus and found the 'Things I've Discovered' screen - I've only uncovered about half of the pick-ups.

As a gamer who appreciates the idea of Dynasty Warrior and similar easy-as-hell, dumb-as-hell games, but I wish there was a mode in which I could activate a few power-ups (10 maybe?) and just go all-out in an endless dungeon. Every once in a while, if I'm lucky, I get an awesome combination (Snake shots and homing shots, for example), and I'd like to run around and experiment with what works.
