This book is outstanding. A triumph of Cajun and Creole cuisine. And the price for it right now is outrageous. when this book was first published, it was sold for $40. And I was even able to get a signed copy of it. Of course I do live in Louisiana so that helped.
But overall, I agree with your findings. Unless you are displaced or love Louisiana food, still with the easy stuff. But if this book ever goes down in price back to $40, jump on it fast!
I'm pretty fortunate. The GameStop I frequent keeps the paper backing of the sticker intact and just tears it and slips in on the spine. It is easy to remove and doesn't damage cover art. You should suggest that to the people at your GameStop.
