I don't really understand why so many people hate on Vista for being "buggy" and "slow." When Vista was first released, I would have to agree that it was fairly unstable and would run fairly fairly slow on my hardware (which is by no means great anymore, AMD 64 3700+, 1gb DDR 400, PCI-E 6600gt, very very slow/old primary HDD) but after the first few months of updates, it's been running great. There definitely is no longer as huge of a performance loss switching between XP and Vista as there used to be and many of the new "features" from the updates are actually pretty good. I'm not saying I love Vista, considering I hated how it ran when it was first released, but MS has made it a fairly stable OS with some nice new features.
As a side note, I'm pretty sick of all the comments on every article about Vista/7 that act like MS is just straight copying Apple...Many of the features/developments in Vista and coming in 7 were being worked on years ago and before Apple released it in their OS...which would mean they're late to the show, but acting like MS hadn't come up with some of the ideas on their own is basically just fanboys lying to themselves to feel better about their product.
I enjoy using Apple's latest installment maybe more so than Vista, but I don't see why anyone wouldn't want MS to improve their OS which a vast majority of the computers you may end up using are going to have on them.
Hahahaha, I opened a tab for the other article too and when I got to your post and I looked at the tabs and clicked back and fourth like five times to figure out what was going on
I think it's outrageous that in this day and age if you call someone a "Jap" you're considered being racist and are in-turn called a "red-neck piece of shit." Which one of those statements actually incompassed hate? I'd have to go with the red-necked piece of shit. That would mean you are assuming he's of Caucasian decent and most likely American. No, you were trying to stand up for an oppressed minority, you weren't being racist! I don't consider anyone of Asian decent to be a minority, considering they make up more of the world's population than most other groups. I'm sick of everyones shit, MOST PEOPLE DON'T GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO BE RACIST. CYRO WASN'T BEING RACIST. RE5 ISN'T BEING RACIST WITH A WHITE PROTAGONIST! Some of you people need to get out of your houses more often and realize that we live in the real world, and calling someone a "Jap" for short isn't being racist. But what does it matter, you guys will probably just vote this post down to a half-star like every other post you don't agree with.
$100 is still a little high but who am I to complain, I bought a logitech wheel for my PSX God knows how many years ago (about 10?)for around $130 and it was the worst investment I've ever made. The wheel handled horribly and made me never want one again, although I have tried one or two with rumble and they seemed MUCH better...
Wow, you Sony fan boys can't really be serious. You see a clip of the game and you're already trying to declare it better than Halo 3. Not sure if anyone else has chimed this in yet but Halo 3 will out sell this game hands down, 100%. Anyone who believes these graphics are the actual beta build and not a polished demo are fooling themselves. Sony doesn't have the room to be able to show an actual beta build of this game after the hype for the graphics they started with the CGI trailer. Sure, the game is going to look real nice when they're done but I still say they're fooling you guys into thinking that this is the beta version of the game so the final build is going to look significantly better.
Ha, this kid's going to be able to have a pretty good lawsuit against the school when it's done. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the reasonings behind kicking him out of school was "technology abuse." Two years ago I had a website up which was made on my own time, hosted on my own servers, and never edited/logged into from school and I was kicked out for "technology abuse" because they didn't agree with what was on it. They even had the police open an investigation into me over "own3d" pictures hahahaha, you gotta love the US school system.
Jaws was pretty difficult but once you've beaten it once, it isn't very hard after that. Nightmare on Elm Street for NES anyone? I can barely beat it with Game Genie hahaha
I don't think the radio personalities should have been fired over this. Those going into the contest should have known what the health concerns with drinking excessive amounts of water could be. Hell, I knew about water intoxication since I was 14. In all honesty, it's VERY hard to get water intoxication, I drank 12 gallons of water in 1 day to see if I could hit 14 gallons and I didn't even suffer from water poisoning. I also live a very active lifestyle and body build, but regardless, 2 gallons shouldn't have killed her (although it did) so I wouldn't hold the DJ's accountable.
I loved Dreamcast and it sucks that it had to die off. I remember waiting in line launch for a ps2 being all hyped from what Sony said about it (I was in 8th grade during the launch of ps2) and after I got one I was like, "..." I was so mad my Dreamcast had better graphics and games than it, after waiting forever to get one. Since then, I've always wanted Sony to fail, but that's not to say I still end up buying their products.
Don't doubt this pic; just go into a gamestop near you. I stopped into one when I was at my local mall 3 days ago when I was there picking up some new clothes and I wanted to try out the demos on ps3 since I haven't bothered and I saw a sign. It said "6 PS3'S IN-STOCK! 60GB!" I asked the guy at the counter if he had any wii's in just out of curiosity and he said no everyone has been asking about them but they've had the 6 ps3's for two days. They can't get rid of them apparently. Sucks to be Sony right now.
