It looks like it could really have potential -- but will inevitably be ruined for English-speaking audiences with overly-literal translation. That, and crap like 7:22 in that video.

Am I the only one who misreads the name of this game as "Skank" every time a story about it is posted?

@deedeedee - Unless you're only thinking as an Apple stockholder, I don't understand your logic. For the customer, this would be great!

@AlienSix - If they turn the iPod Touch into an "iPhone minus the phone", then they've completely taken away any reason for ME to hand AT&T $25+/month for a data plan. I'd just use my RAZR with an el-cheapo voice plan, and carry an iPod Touch for everything else, since I'm always near WiFi.

So, in my case, they'd lose an iPhone sale in lieu of an iPod Touch.

Camera? How about a hole for an ambient light sensor.

Apple's not going to make the iPod Touch so nice that it cannibalizes iPhone sales, which have a much higher profit margin.

1) The DLC is not free.

2) What's the point of this album when their last album, "A-Sides" was an even better greatest hits compilation?

What you don't see is the guy off-camera tampering with the transmission strength of Apple's in-house AT&T/Verizon tower every time they show a "death grip" on one of these phones.

I mean, come on... on the Droid Eris example, he doesn't even cover the antenna, which they point out as being on the top of the device.

What I'd like to see is an article telling me how to use an Android device on my AT&T voice plan for WiFI+Voice only -- without AT&T sending me a little text saying they tacked on the $25/month data plan "for my convenience".

@Elranzer -- Not quite the same as every year. I *wish* my iPod Touch had GPS, a microphone, and a camera.

No way in Hell they'll put a camera on the Touch. They're going to keep it gimped so people opt for the iPhone.

iPod Touches retail at $300-400, so the profit margin is MUCH smaller for that device.

Expect the hi-res display, updated iPhone look, and gyros. Nothing more.
