true. The lack of any good traveling vehicle (like an air ship) is a downer and eats up a bunch of times but the 64 side missions, the fact you might have re-do them fast to get a 5 star rating + the time/ rarity of the good items to upgrade weapons + the extra tough battles make it longer at least than say FFVII, FFX, FFIX were for me ^^;
I'm doing the very long side quests and FFXIII seems to be one of the best so far. I've been playing them since FFI in 1987 and my entire anime site and business came from my love of FFVII but this one is worth the hype. It's the most linear FF but the sales number show it, this is a great game....and yes, I'm on the PS3 side for this one but I still play my XBox 360.
