Indeed. I'd pay extra for a small performer with luxe interior. But the front end of that thing is just brutally heinous. Everything else, not bad though.

I would have gladly shelled out extra rubles for a quicker-than-thou S1, MINI eater. But it would have to stay away from the chintzy, cutesy (although, coherently designed) MINI philosophy. And it appears from Audi's design vids... that their primary focus was to steal MINI's charm under the guise of Audi engineering. And something like THAT will not outsell the MINI here in the US. Let's face it, the MINI monopolizes the cute and charming.

They need a to bring luxury, wrapped in performance hotness, squeezed in a hamster footprint. And still give it AWD... something MINI severely suffers from without. And that, my friends, would sell like hotcakes.

So... they're getting pissy over annual sales of what?... 400 units?

Sure, they could spend billions in infrastructural improvement to their backend. Or just spend a few mill in squashing some (entirely appropriate) marketing material from a competitor.

I'm all in Porche's corner here. With any shred of hope, this will spiral Crocs into the abyss of bankruptcy (one can wish). Any company that appeals to the American fascination with stupid crap should be taken out behind the barn and shot.

Crocs should just partner with those Snuggie reptards and offer a two-fer box for all the jackasses in CVS and WalMart.

AT&T blows. The only reason anyone uses them is because of the iPhone... or they're just idiots.

Too bad Audi's styling is too homogenized. The only redeemable Audi model is the S5.

Although I suppose a lot of people appreciate the "bauhaus" sensibilities.... Audi's are the Honda Civics down here in Miami. Even the guy driving the RS4 feels like he's driving an A4 (as styling is concerned).

Though lots of power is nice... I can't fall in love with the new A4 body. The backside is just horrendous.
