Against Wake, Duke Faces No. 1 Test

Jan 28th 2009 2:20PM (Fanhouse NCAA Basketball Blog)
Duke 79, Davidson 67, three weeks ago.

Duke's played Davidson the last 5 years and beaten them every time.

In fact, Duke's beaten Davidson 23 straight times, going back to 1983.

Three of the last six games have been 20+ point wins.

I'm sure, as consistenly Top 10 USNWR schools go, they're an academic joke, but they might be able to help you with your grammar and spelling. You should apply! Can you bounce a basketball?

Arlovski-Barnett? Without Fedor, Affliction Better Have Tito Ortiz Up Its Sleeve

Aug 5th 2008 9:53AM (MMA Fighting)
Shortsighted fight booking for Affliction. This is a #1 contender's fight, and it's going to eliminate one guy from Fedor's possibilities down the road. From a fighting perspective, I think it'll be a good fight, but it's not going to draw eyeballs and it's not going to help in booking their top star. Better to have two guys lined up to build Fedor and to give Ortiz time to wail on a few guys to rebuild his brand.

"...since she's yet to win a tournament, her earnings come solely from endorsements."

Yipes.

Did the LPGA move to a winner-take-all system when I wasn't looking, or are they still paying, you know, everybody who makes the cut?

For the record, Wie's made $780,233 in career earnings since she went pro in 2005.
