Jeez, I'm glad to see that there are others who didn't spot the Miles Prower jokes - I figured they changed his name to miles in the uk, like they did with peach/daisy (later explained away as a different princess.
And i thought Prower was just supposed to sound like prowess!
Christ, the penny arcade ones were bad, which made me wonder why you thought they were both so good.
I understand it must be pretty hard being consistently funny around the same topic a number of times a week, but you'd think they would manage someone at least once in a while.
Rather than 'Readers pick best Webcomic' could you not make it 'Readers pick least crap Webcomic' simply because it's pretty much false advertising.
The only one that makes me chuckle *fairly* consistantly is Dueling Analogs. Other than that they struggle to raise a smile.
Having said that, my favourite was the non-game-focused comic that did the surgery gag when the screen fuzzed up at the end ala dusty gameboy cartridges.
Everywhere I have seen this there is no mention of Theme Hospital - it looks exactly the same - except despite the 3d graphics, it still looks far less charming than the 2d graphics of Bullfrog's classic.
I'm not particularly fussed about all-in-one devices. The i had an SE w800 phone (mp3 player, radio 2.0 megapixel cam and phone) but didn't use the mp3 player, so i'm using the k800 now which is less about the mp3 player bit and more about a 3.2 megapixel cam and phone... it's pretty damn good, and i have a sony mp3 player as seperate
'Soccer' rules are not going to be changed just so Americans can watch it. It is one of the, if not THE biggest and most popular game in the entire world - just because the scores are not in double figures doesn't mean it is boring.
The way the game (i.e not manufactured in such a way that there is a goal every 10 seconds) is played creates tension, excitement, the build-up to one defining moment in a game that will turn a game on its head.
It truly is the beautiful game, and one that has hundreds of years of development behind it, not some fat balding cigar smoking American corporate type trying to work out how he can fit 8 advert breaks into one match while at the same time keeping the US public's eyes on the game so that they can watch those adverts.
Also, if it is an incredibly boring sport, explain why the whole world sits up and watches.

Apr 19th 2007 5:27PM (Joystiq)Kudos for Voodoo Vince, I thought it was great game - first platformer I enjoyed since Mario 64.
Atmosphere and music was perfect and the gameplay was quirky brilliance, just a shame that all the reviews gave it average.
Never did complete it - got stuck on the last level in some fairground.... got bastard tricky in the big wheel and such...

Comedian Jimmy Carr takes act into Second Life
Jan 3rd 2007 6:46PM (Joystiq)Couldn't give a crap about the second life thing though.
See him live, or watch his live dvd. Don't sign up to a crappy online chat room just so you can watch a jerky streaming of a live show.
Also, special shout out to Stoo, ladies and gentlemen, ....there's always one c***.

Equally - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FA_Premier_League -
It is the world's most watched sporting league and most lucrative football league, followed by over a billion people.
That's not a bad endorsement now, is it?
