My problem with the ad campaign isn't so much of the lack of racial equality in the ads, but...how many people are going to complain that the ads are going to cause epileptic seizures with that sudden color flash transition. I mean, I'm sure they tested it and all, but people tend to be too flimsy anymore.
Maybe NBC is trying to make you not see that it's all white stars in the ads by making you have a seizure before you realize it.
Well, Omega, maybe it would be just another reason for you to break down and open your mind about the possibility of at least thinking of a PS3 purchase. You're missing out on alot of damn good games. And they have been making some good moves lately (2.41, the pushing of LBP. They just need to start really hitting MS where it'll really hurt: Securing more third party exclusives by fighting fire with fire and showing how much money SONY can give to third parties). Now is a very good time to think about getting one.
"WAAAHHH!! BIOSHOCK (MAY) COME TO THE PS3!! HOW COULD THEY STAB US IN THE BACK LIKE THIS!! THIS WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO BE FOR THE 360, THEY EVEN SAID IT A THOUSAND TIMES!! HOW CAN THEY DO THIS SHIT TO US!! WWWAAAAHHHH!!"
Jesus Christ, that's all you 360 fanboys seem to be doing in response. I ask you...HOW would something like this happening end your world of put a dent in your beloved system. And, umm...how much worth does the word "never" have in gaming these days? We've heard it before with many games, only to have the opposite happen (besides Valve, but we know that Gabe Newell can only learn PS3 code if he can lay off the buffet after his 30th plate).
The fact that this time 2K didn't come out and deny this one like they have defiantly so many times before to other rumors should tell you something. It's a month or so old, yet there is nothing denying this.
Regardless, though, PLEASE stop all this whining that you're "losing" an exclusive, because...why is it a big deal if a different platform gets a year old game? If it's "sloppy seconds", then why the hell are you so scared about it appearing on the PS3?
Umm, guys, remember that the game ISN'T EVEN OUT YET! And this is coming from one person's thoughts about it (the only time I've seen this on the web, actually). Here we are, condemning the game as if what this guy's said was absolute fact. The control issue is the only thing that could be of any concern, and that could be addressed rather easily. The infidels comment I don't see the issue there, we've sat through long cutscenes before, and we don't know if this guy is just hard to please. We haven't really had a chance to PLAY the game yet.
Granted, EA doesn't have a good track record, but c'mon. PLEASE don't be THAT naive to just believe this person's OPINION as fact.
Is NBC becoming more colorful?
