I'm a youth group leader at an American military post in Germany. So let's just say my teens take their military shooters serious.
This last semester was filled with conversations of 'which game was better, bf3 or MW3'. So maybe I started those arguments for the sake of breaking the ice. Regardless, it's always irked me that people feel they need to take sides in a make believe conflict. Why can't we enjoy shooting each other in multiple IPs?
I would love a 360 copy to play on Live with my teens.
Let's not forget that these are the guys (for the most part) who pit together the 1up show. If that's not reason to invest .99 cents a month, I don't know what is.
Sonic Adventures. I got a job at a Gamestop one summer in college and ended up dumping all my money on backlogs of Dreamcast gear. I adored my little tomogotchi memory card guys for that game! What a dumb gimmick, but man am I a sucker for a good dumb gimmick...
Really? The most popular sport in the world's premium game is coming out tomorrow and everyones amped on duct tape and another zombie apocalypse? Guess I'll be playing with Kaka by myself tomorrow...
Yup, it's been freezing up on me every time I get to the first encounter of the hunters in single player campaign. I've saved and quit right before the freeze point and although I was able to make it just past the elevator, it now freezes right after that 100% of the time. I've turned off and on my box about 20 times but I can never make it to the next save point.
The screen just freezes in place and you can hear the game still playing for a few seconds after. I push the ting of light on my controller and it makes the noise it should but nothing appears on screen and when I push it again I get nothing. The firefight and matchmaking modes seem to be working fine. Ice got a 3 year old console and it was repaired by Microsoft last year for the RRoD. I believe it was a bad DVD engine.
