"The Top 10 Best-Selling Cars of 2008

* Ford F-Series: 515,513
* Chevy Silverado: 465,065
* Toyota Camry: 436,617
* Honda Accord: 372,789
* Toyota Corolla: 351,007
* Honda Civic: 339,289
* Nissan Altima: 269,668
* Chevy Impala: 265,840
* Dodge Ram: 245,840
* Honda CR-V: 197,279"

Yes they might have the #1 and #2 spots but if you add up the total sales, they clearly don't move the most units. Just by adding up the totals for the Top 10 that you listed:
*Honda - 372,789 + 339,289 + 197,279 = 909357
*Toyota - 436,617 + 351,007 = 787624
*Chevy - 465,065 + 265,840 = 730905
*Ford - 515,513
*Nissan - 269,668
*Dodge - 245,840

What's the use of being 1 and 2 if a single competitor holds more than 1 or 2 of the other spots?

I was just wondering but other than advertising for GM, what would your response be to the ACTUAL subject of the blog? You know, the part where they're using tax payers' money to sue the states and flushing money down the drain. The fuel thing is a whole other subject but I'd like to hear your thoughts on the lawsuits.

SFII HD designer calls out SFIV for user unfriendliness

I think this post is great. This is how everyone learns to play the game. Casuals can't really expect to suddenly become Daigo after inserting the DVD. You don't expect to start even a "casual friendly" Wii game w/o learning all the controls and automatically be good at it. Wii Tennis is really easy to learn but you can actually learn to time your swings to direct your ball or have a faster serve and that only comes after you've played it for awhile.

I could've sworn the msg Ono was saying about SF being easier to get into was refering to how much easier it is to get into than say CvS2 (with all the grooves) and 3S (w/ different supers and parries). Its more basic where a scrub can come in, pick a character they like and play. They're not going to be competing with the top using all the tools available but they can play and choose to learn more if they want to.

To the ppl comparing how SF4 to say SC or VF and say thats more casual and noob friendly, everyone is comparing Focus attacks and combos to just spaming buttons on SC and VF. Shouldn't we be comparing Focus attacks and longer combos to higher level play techniques in SC/VF like option select throwing, juggling (with a purpose and not just spamming), positioning (forward,back, side to side, and jumps)? I just didn't understand why ppl were saying VF or SC was easier because you can spam buttons. A scrub would still be KILLED be a vet in those games and they probably won't have a chance to come back at all.

Damn that was long. I just hope everyone gives the game a chance and actually practice *gasp* and try to understand the new systems before giving up and maybe they'll find that they like the game more after they actually understand how things work. =)

isn't that why they're called ACHIEVEMENTS instead of Freebies? (O.o)

The Guardian: Ken, Ryu great for SF IV beginners

it was my understanding that if you played in arcade mode and set it to allow challeners, you could set it up for ranked matches and only ppl with a higher score than you. Wouldn't that get rid of all the comments about only playing noobs online since you'll only be matched with better and better ppl?

i dont have the game yet but i cant wait to start practicing and getting back into things.

Street Fighter IV ships two million units worldwide

sf3:3S and SF2:ww are VERY different so i dont know how you could feel they're the same. Yes some simliar characters but the same tactics and tricks wont work on both games. Fireball traps are totally useless in 3S compared to SF2 for example. Dismissing SF3 based on beating the computer once isn't the best way to judge the game since the computer doesn't know any of the tricks and strats that most human players do. You'll never experience any of the depth of the game if you only play the computer.

well i heard you could play in arcade mode and turn on the challenger mode and you'll constantly get new ppl to fight instead of opening a 2 person room. Also you can set the game to only add ppl that are ranked higher than you so you wont keep playing noobs.

Joystiq Review: Street Fighter IV

for all those newer players that are wondering how they can learn the systems and information, i'm surprised no one here referred them over to www.shoryuken.com. The forums over there have a great newbie faq and information to get started like how to read the common abbreviations for character moves, etc.
