can't believe I missed Terraria for such a great price.

I haven't logged in or posted on Joystiq in so long I can't remember the last time. But once I got to this line:

"It's getting clearer and clearer that games are not meant to be sold as complete packages. Games are meant to be ripped apart and sold in moderately-sized downloadable chunks."

I had to log in to say that this is complete and utter garbage.

The only thing I did agree with is that they should absolutely break off that card game and make it a small downloadable title. That would make an amazing iOS/Android game.

I dunno man... I loved both of the SNES Jurassic Park games, and that 2.5D Lost World game on PSX was AWESOME... As others have pointed out, Dino Crisis... and TUROK! Well, at least 1 and 2... I liked 3 too actually, and didn't think the gamecube one was as bad as everyone else, but admittedly they were the weak points...

To your credit, I've heard that Nazis vs Dinos game on steam is terrible.

I didn't play the first Planetside, but the idea of an FPS MMO sounds awesome to me. I did hear about it quite some time ago, and when I checked videos on YouTube, it didn't look very MMO. What are some differences between Planetside and a "normal" MMO like WoW, aside from replacing magic and different moves with first person shooting?

the pompous attitude of battlefield players is starting to get as annoying as the average XBL CoD player...

I wonder how long it will take until people covering songs in coffee shop open mic nights will be fined or jailed.

If it's UE3, count me out. For some reason, the analogue controls in all UE3 games feels clunky to me. That's one of the things tht drew me to CoD- the analogue stick controls are very very accurate.
