Gamestop spoils Twilight Princess ending in stores

Apr 9th 2007 9:15AM (Joystiq)
Another reason why I want to give every corporate asshat running Gamestop a kick in the nuts. I'm so glad I don't work there, that would be horrible, you wouldn't even be able to avoid the spoilers.

I'm terribly disappointed in the lack of pointer function. It's such an obvious and simple inclusion, why not use it?

PS3 Ridge Racer: 9 minutes too long?

Nov 2nd 2006 10:50PM (Joystiq)
Hmm, I don't know what to think about this. One thing is for sure, it's not as bad as some gamers are making it out to be. If you don't want to wait through the 9 minute install at first play as, if you’re anything like me, you want to play that new game as soon as possible, than don't. The game ARE playable without that install, then once you've got that initial fix you can run the install. Also, it's not like you have to install EVERY game. I can see how installing whatever game is your obsession at the time to cut down a loading would be appreciable. And of course when you move on, delete it for whatever else you want to play it’s not like you can’t still go back and play that other game, it’ll just take longer to load. The Playstation line has always had terrible loading times so this could help a lot. As far as Snatch’s comment on Nintendo’s needing to learn from that, how so? Nintendo systems have always had very quick loading time as long as developers make the effort to optimize their games, something that should be possible on any platform.

60 bucks? Ouch, that's a little much for a controler that's only good for a couple games. I think I'll stay wired.
