No one's attacking you guys personally. Just your selective arguments. Nintendo, as a first party game developer, has done a shit-load on the Wii for the core gamer. I hate game lists and I'm not going to get baited into it. Either the games appeal to YOU personally or they don't, the generalized comments that all there games are Wii Sports-like is NONSENSE. I'm not a fool...I understand how some use this console...but you and others are generalizing.

They are emphasizing a mass market, no question. Not arguing this point.

Again, are we talking about Nintendo the software dev or Nintendo the console producer?? Yes, non-gamers were a big part of Nintendo's strategy, but if games like Metroid, Mario and Zelda don't hit the core, I don't know what does. And, released relatively quickly after the console was released. It seems to me that Nintendo the software dev has done a fairly good job at striking a solid mix of casual and core titles.

What exactly were you expecting them to do?? Announce another Metroid, Zelda and Mario title...due this December?? Hopefully another Smash Bros by November, eh?? A new Ip would have been nice, but come on. Since it's release, Nintendo's first party titles, appealing to the core, have for the most part crushed or been on par with what MS and Sony have offered. If you and Jebus want to bitch, cry and moan, direct your attention to the slew of 3rd partiers.

Remember, though. The PS3 is NOT competing with the Wii.

By moving gaming forward, do you mean rereleasing the XBox and PS2 with better gfx??

What strategy are you refering to?? The corporate strategy to expand the gaming market and ergo rake in profits?? Or, efforts to appeal to both casual and core markets??

Nintendo has shown you exactly NOTHING to suggest that core gamers will be ignored. You're opinion is a clear over-reaction not based in reality.

Honestly, why do you care where the money is coming from. They've done a LOT to appeal to the core gamer at the same time. They're doing both. If you don't like the casual titles, stay away from them...I typically do and my Wii still get's more use than my 360.

To each his own. I think it's a solid list, if real.

Who knows....depending on the Shephard, PH may fit perfectly. This stuff about PH being exclusive to James' psyche isn't entirely true. BUT, I wouldn't be surprised if PH looked slightly different from the SH2 version.

PH is supposed to resemble the towns old executioners. Clearly not unique to James.
