DS Daily: Gaming zines
Jul 26th 2008 11:58AM (Joystiq Nintendo)Wii Warm Up: Still Fit?
Jul 21st 2008 10:18AM (Joystiq Nintendo)In my opinion it's not really a weight loss tool. I'm using it to maintain my current state of fitness and I find that it does achieve that quite well. Toning and general good fitness are great benefits of Wii Fit.
If you aren't looking for a lot of flashy features and enjoy a video game that gets you up off the couch and interacting with it, this is a game for you. It's not deep in content but does have a lot of everyday features that feel comfortable and user friendly.
I'm not really sure what to think of Wii Music at this point... I'll have to wait and see.
On another note... Does anyone else find a discrepancy between the Wii Fit scale and their regular bathroom scale.
The Wii Fit scale consistently reads about ten pounds lighter than the digital scale, I have used for the last year. It's kinda odd!
Text chat confirmed for Mario Kart Wii
Feb 26th 2008 4:46PM (Joystiq Nintendo)But it's a good thing that Nintendo wants to protect kids and others from abuse from anonymous strangers.
People do and say things online that they'd never say or do face to face. Anonymity does promote a certain amount of license. And it can get pretty ugly out there.
I guess I'm a "fanboy" too, but Nintendo is cautious in a world where reckless abandon is fashionable. I appreciate their careful approach.
