Franz K's iTar transforms your iPad into a keytar, puts shame in your game (video)

I was feeling pretty depressed about my life. I was reflecting about all of my pet projects that I never finished. All those ideas that I said "wouldn't it be cool if I made 'x'?"

Then I watched that video.

Thanks for cheering me up, and showing me that I didn't make as many bad decisions as I thought I did!

Sure they will. For instance, we're still using 5 and a quarter floppy disks that were popular 20 years ago.

What pim said.

Also, this device gets a +5 in my book for using standard batteries. You could have seen that in the screenshots as well. When will companies learn how awesome that is?!

I'd even be happy with a bulge out of the back of the device to allow me to use slightly higher capacity AA cells.

I miss the High5 picture. This one works out well, though. That's a picture of the future if those of you intend to be abusive buttclowns. Do you REALLY want to run from Volcanos AND mecha-dinosaurs? Seriously!

Given the past creative uses of the game Rez, "QJ" probably stands for "QuickieJob" :D

I guess my only question is:

"What does a small town sheriff know about disc technology"?

VIA's new EPIA PX5000EG 500MHz Pico-ITX board loses the fan

If you want to talk about obsolesce, why stop there? USB made its debut over a decade ago, why not just throw out all the perfectly working technology for a new standard?

Or how about the stereo jack? It was first seen in the 19th century. Surely that would be a good target for removal in modern day hardware?
