Dec 26th 2010 10:52PM (Joystiq)
I got a shirt, a Ninja Turtles blanket, Monsters, Inc. on Blu Ray and a Kinect. The Kinect was more for the wife, but I might enjoy it a little, also.

A giant spider crawling on the pillows about 4 feet from my face. I don't think I've ever hopped out of bed faster.

Video: Hulu Plus on PS3

Jul 14th 2010 8:29PM (Joystiq)
@chrisgrant I agree whole heartedly with you on the 'you pay for cable and it has ads' debate. There's no way to argue against that. But you can't really compare Hulu Plus to my DVR. They may cost the same, but does Hulu Plus have sports, talk shows, or some of the more obscure stupid crap I watch? No. Granted, I know, I pay $70 a month (including the DVR price) but I only pay 10 bucks a month for watch anytime AND commercial skipping privileges. With cable/satellite, I have way more options. $60 more worth of options? That's up to the consumer.

PlayStation Plus announced at E3: $50 / year

@Shrink While I agree it's stupid, I would liken it to a service like Netflix. I can get all the streaming I want as long as I pay my monthly fee. As soon as I don't, it's gone. Like I said, it's stupid they'd do this, but I can see why.

Splinter Cell: Conviction CE on sale for $35 on UBIShop

Jun 1st 2010 7:16PM (Joystiq)
I ordered this deal on Saturday when I first heard about it. The order is STILL in process. It's a pretty good deal for what you get, but I don't know if I'm ever going to get it. That's a long time to process something.
