Nice writeup. I liked how you kept most of the story driving elements the same (shaman daughter, Clawspur) and only differed in one aspect (legion) to see how much this one change affected each story. Very scientific.

Can you explain the fraud thing some more? I used alts and the neutral AH in WoW to send money cross faction much like the way you mentioned, but I'm just too dense to see how it leads to fraud in this debate.

@EliminatorZigma My kids still play that on the Wii. All they do is websling around the city and they love it.

Also, buying microtransaction gems (rumored to buy character slots?) with ingame gold I have over-accumulated and doing nothing with sounds amazing.

...but you cannot sell gems to NPCs for gold, so the server economy will determine what the real $1->gem->gold conversion is. Who knows; at some point it may be more worth it to play for 30 minutes over spending $5 if that's what the going rate is.

Do the conjured weapons make Elementalists effective in melee?
