The Walking Dead is most certainly not a specific story with specific characters and plot elements. The AMC series (which is fantastic by the way) veered in a completely different direction from the comics. The difference in story, characters, etc. throughout different media is something that Kirkman wants, and is purposefully doing. He pretty much says this (though not in regards to the game) in the letters column at the back of one of the recent issues of Walking Dead.

No they did not. I remember them costing $100-150 (maybe more) depending on the age of the game, but never did I see a Neo Geo game being sold for $300. I think World Heroes 2 might have been the last Neo Geo game that we bought at my house in those days, so they may have jacked the prices up later in the life cycle. Still, I think you're exaggerating.

True wrestling may not be the most entertaining form of fighting to watch, but it is every bit the combat art (if not more so) than kickboxing or jiu-jitsu. The dictionary definition of "martial art" is actually a translation of the Japanese word "bujutsu" and apparently it traditionally refers to Asian fighting styles. By this definition, Krav Maga, Sambo, BJJ, and several other fighting styles are not technically "martial arts." Regardless, your inability to be entertained by wrestling does nothing to tarnish its utility in hand-to-hand combat situations.

I'm no jurist, but I don't think it's illegal to modify hardware that you own. Even if the manufacturer disapproves of it, the punishment for modification should be no stiffer than a voided warranty. Having pirated software stored on a modified device, however, is another story
