Rumor: Release list dates Wii Sports Resort with MotionPlus, reveals Wii Fit Plus

"Mostly French"? All of The Netherlands and the top part of Belgium(Flanders) speaks Dutch and has it as their official language, covering about 22 million people or 82% of the Benelux population.

It's-a Mario World: Fan Art

Because that's pretty much his style. He's done a few more in a similar vein of other games, including Megaman, Kirby and Adventure Island. There's prints for sale here: https://www.awfulmart.com/store.php?crn=210

VC Monday Madness: Secret of Mana and Street Fighter II Champion Edition

Actually, they're technically speaking not even from the same developer. SoE was developed by a team from Square USA rather than the main Squaresoft office in Japan(And never got a Japanese release)

Mega Man 9 doesn't support GameCube controllers after all

Sep 24th 2008 2:03PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Nothing too deal-breaking for me(Still waiting for that PAL release) Would have been nice to use my Hori Digital again though.

And in a way I'm glad because I remember the last time we had to play classic Megaman(Not X) games with a Gamecube controller...

Blue Period: A collection of Mega Man boxart

There's a second cover for the PAL NES MM2, which has Megaman on Item-2. This also removes MM6 from its position of only Megaman with a special weapon. It's much less common than silver Megaman though.

It also suffers from general terribleness and realistic Wily.

Mega Man 9's item shop is the future of Mega Man's past

Aug 15th 2008 7:39AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
MM9 supposedly being the one that explains it all is just the result of fanboys wanting some closure. It never was intended as such.

The continuation of MM2 of sorts just refers to the overall game style, as opposed to the later games which added the Megabuster, slide and lots of other features and gimmicks.

Also, I'm pretty sure Inafune's already said once in the past that there'll never be a Megaman game giving closure to a series, or full explanations for everything. They want to keep it open to sequels and other in-between games.

Wii Fanboy poll: Watch any DVDs on your Wii?

Take out your Gamecube memory card, that should do the trick. Quite a few people have this problem, although quite a few others don't.

Virtually Overlooked: Irritating Stick

Aug 1st 2008 7:38AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Or they could just release Irritating Maze for the NeoGeo on the VC. The original game was controlled by a trackball and is virtually impossible to play with a keyboard or joypad. Maybe they could simulate the trackball controls by having you tilt the Wiimote in the appropriate direction.

Capcom to create mega shirts out of Mega Man 9 boxart

They better make these things available in Europe too. I want one.

Rumor: WiiWare gets equipped with Mega Man 9

Jun 27th 2008 5:28AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
They're not from other levels and games though, and they're merely in the same style as the previous NES games.

Also interesting to note is the actual spritecount and the size of the sprites. This is impossible on an actual NES because of hardware limitations(Although an emulator can overcome some of these)

The rotation effect in another picture isn't possible at all on an NES or emulator.
