I think what you mean to say was "She knows exactly what she needs to say in order to bullshit her way through this interview like most big company PRs do".
Do you honestly expect Nintendo representatives to come out and say they neglected the core crowd? Of course not. They wouldn't say that because it's bad business. Nintendo knows full well that they have shifted their priorities (not that I blame them) and only the most delusional of fanboys will tell you otherwise.
Casuals are big money right now and everyone knows it. Nintendo has little reason to win over the core crowd and face competition from Sony and Microsoft when they could be focusing their attention on bringing in even more money from casuals.
I'm not saying that Nintendo is some evil company for switching it's focus (they are a business after all), but you're seriously delusional or a Nintendo PR if you keep spouting that Nintendo hasn't shifted it's focus away from core players.
This brings up an interesting point in the game. Are they going to have PvP or not? If they aren't, then that's a damn shame as ANY Star Wars MMO should have PvP in it. If they are, how they hell are they going to balance normal classes like Bounty Hunter with the all-powerful Jedi? It was a huge problem in Star Wars Galaxies as Jedi started to become more plentiful. One one hand you have people who think Jedi should own "normal classes" because they do in the universe, but then you have people who want to be able to go toe-to-toe with Jedi for the sake of gameplay balance.

No wonder you have so many Wii games Jason, your taste for video games is quite bad.
How is less buttons possibly better? It allows for less control which in turns lowers the amount of control you have over the game. Some types of games would be completely impossible to play with only motion controls and one button. Are you suggesting that these different types of games should go the way of the dodo?
iPhone games are too overly simplistic to catch my attention. Until it can get something somewhat complex on it, which i doubt due to the limitations of the controls, it won't ever see a game purchased from me.
