Wi-Fi Sync app rejected by Apple, headed to Cydia for $9.99
May 14th 2010 3:27AM (Engadget)If it was a free app I would jump on the jail breaking again and go for it in a snap... but ten bucks and JB requirement seems a little silly. Tempting just the same though. Maybe if I could find a way to play back the last 5 new news podcasts as a alarm, I could be guaranteed current news pod casts at wake without having to have dam computer in the bedroom... hmmm yeah that would get me toe shell out. Anyone know the right JB app combo?

Mar 25th 2010 3:30AM (Engadget)I guess if it was fast and slick and not just powerful under the hood everybody would just figure they hired a cable company OEM to retool for them. Oh wait, maybe that would have made more sense.
Fail.

Mar 19th 2010 10:51PM (Engadget)1. No expandable memory. your not apple don't try to screw people, just cause they got away with it dose not mean you can.
2. You had cool charging hardware, you should have bundled it with the kitchen sink approach to win early adopter loyalty instead of trying to squeeze them for extra cash. Again, not apple, don't do that.
3. Way to little to late on opening things up to devs. You have a limited window to build momentum and it was totally squandered, then you did the same thing with low level access. I get all the balls where not in your court but you could have stolen/bought some and avoided the problem.
4. You had a couple cool and innovative ideas but you did not push them further. You have not really expanded or done new stuff with features instead it's been a mishmash of not staying ahead and bug fixes. You have to look at the failures of others and say we do that too. Lets over the air BT syncing to the comp for music and stuff or even the cloud if you must but there is a general failure to recognize local is important at the same time. expansive BT support for printing, not ear phones. Expansive peripheral support. Cool docks for the droid, you could have that too, hell you could include a couple cool things and make your product look richer instead of chasing after market money that you don't have a big enough ecosystem or audience to make work. Stop drinking your own dam cool aid.
