Dec 28th 2009 2:29PM Could have been worse, could have been clothes in the box, like certain other parents did at christmas. Joystiq, I think you remember :)

Dec 19th 2009 5:12PM Why not, I see MW as a technical standpoint, okay, the last one may not have been as great as the first, but when Halo came out, we were comparing games to it for years, and all in good reasoning, it set a bar to reach and others had to surpass it or reach it, we expected no less. MW just went and did that again.

Dec 19th 2009 5:10PM I wasn't hating on MW or GRAW, and I know GRAW did it first, I was more amused by the subtitle of 'future soldier', pointing out that since MW went 'modern', its been quite the ideal basis to follow (Medal of Honour) I suspect maybe GRAW is looking for a similar atmosphere, just less explosions and more stealth as always. Who knows. I'd buy it anyway, I love stealth and have yet to miss a Ghost Recon or Socom.

Traveler's Tales director assesses Sony and Microsoft motion control {Joystiq}

Dec 18th 2009 9:27PM Saying that, Natal registers objects in hand, so lets see how well that works out.

Dec 18th 2009 9:26PM I think thats the only thing that would annoy me, because if not having any controllers is an excuse to sell lots of pointless prephirals just so that I can get the most out of my game, then its probably not worth it. The thing with Wii's is that they were optional, it made it slightly more realistic, but didn't NEED to be bought, but playing without anything, may tempt people to buy something to hold, therefore raking in more cash, even after the natal has been bought.

VGA 2009: Cliff Bleszinski teases new projects, more to come 'when the weather's warm' {Joystiq}

Dec 18th 2009 9:20PM I'd like to say Gears 3, but what happened to this PS3 game they were apparently thinking of or actually were in the process of conjuring up?

Hopefully Gears 3 makes up for the little things that let me down in Gears 2, help me relive the good ol days of Gears 1 :D

Dec 18th 2009 8:33PM Hmm, I haven't played Tekken in First Person since Tekken 2 :D

Should be interesting to kick someones ass in first person.......on second thought, third person is less limiting, just over the shoulder view should do it. Besides, I want to do a roundhouse kick and actually SEE the glory of my actions.

Dec 18th 2009 8:30PM I suppose it depends on what is done, people may like new tech, but its not as if they havent gone through the 'dancing and waving about in front of the screen' phase before. The Eyetoy introduced that, then Wii took it further, and now Natal is going one step further again, but it doesnt exactly mean either will pull people in, especially after Wii left a sour taste in some people's mouth. You also have to bare in mind how many game will be available for each.

The variety of PMC might win out.
