I started reading probably right around August or September of 2008. Overall a little under a year.

I'm really lacking understanding as to why these disc based sequels/expansions are needed. Are they added new game modes, or just more tracks? If it's just more tracks why not just have the tracks on the singstore.

This game never hit my radar to begin with, so I'm not caring that it doesn't have trophies.

Neither Sony nor Nintendo have a conference at TGS. I don't even think that Nintendo is at TGS period from what I've read. As for where all the new revealed game are who knows... maybe it's only a limited amount of people who can know at this point? Who knows.

Anyhow good to hear that these titles are getting trophies although really at this point it should almost be a given, especially since some of those titles are still a little ways away.

I'm not a big fan of this trend, because then it doesn't become about the gameplay only, it becomes more who can we exclusively license to help sell our game. Not to mention these games better try to be compatible with one another, otherwise who's going to buy two or three drum kits... that's just stupid. It's bad enough with the guitars being incompatible between some.

I don't really understand the whole 360 is for hardcore gamers argument. The argument to me should be the 360 is more for gamers who want a lot of online functionality, which Sony hasn't delivered, yet (at least hopefully yet). Sure the 360 has a few more games, but it's also been out longer, hence why the PS3 doesn't have any RPGs yet. Granted with Eternal Sonata, Disgaea 3, and Valkyrie Chronicles coming out this year that will change.

Personally I have 9 PS3 games since buying mine about October or so of last year, not to mention a number of PSN titles too. So I don't know I've been happy,even if a number of people aren't...

I agree that it is somewhat of a poor trend. Considering that most RPGs from back in the days of the NES were JRPGs to all of a sudden make that separation seems contrived. If anything it needs to be that ones like Final Fantasy and the sort are JRPGs while Oblivion and Mass Effect are western RPGs aka WRPGs and both of those make up the RPG genre. Most of the time I think of the JRPGs as the true prototype of RPGs while the WRPGs are more of the label to show difference.

I've been playing it quite regularly as of the last two or three weeks. It is too bad that the PS3 version gets updates and stuff later than the 360, but at least we get them... I guess.

Dante from what I can tell would win. Nero seems a little more inexperienced and younger than Dante, and I think that would be the biggest factor.
