OnLive celebrates Indie-pendence Day with an explosive sale

To avoid confusion, that's minute in the adjective sense, not the noun sense. It's not a full minute (60 seconds) of lag.

OnLive celebrates Indie-pendence Day with an explosive sale

Jul 3rd 2011 4:08PM (Joystiq)
Even though I own a Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3, these deals just keep me coming back to OnLive. I agree that the quality can definitely be lower than what you get on an actual console along with the minute of lag, but you can't beat cheap and free games. I encourage anyone who hasn't tried the service out to go ahead and try it.

Another deal they are offering is if you sign up this weekend, you can get your first purchase 50% off by using the code NEWMEMBER50 (only applies to the non-sale items unfortunately). Existing members get 30% off using the code 4JULY30.

iPhone Post It Notes take your Apple love analog

There are 50 sheets per pad. The "Starter" has 5 pads so that is 250 sheets in total for $20, "Pro" has 1,000 sheets for $35, and "Master" has 2,000 sheets for $59. That makes it $0.08 a sheet if you get "Starter", $0.035 a sheet for "Pro", and $0.0295 a sheet for "Master".

I thought the same thing as you at first until I re-read it and noticed the last line of the first paragraph.

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat though is also up there with my favorite DK games :).

Roku v1.5 firmware update brings HD Netflix streaming

Dec 26th 2008 1:32AM (Engadget)
Hey, I don't know if this was posted or not, but by accessing the Debug Menu, where you can force a certain stream bitrate preference, and changing the setting to its' highest bitrate, I was able to "force" my Roku player to update to the new v1.5 firmware. I don't know if this will work for everyone but it was successful for me (after trying to update before accessing and changing the bitrate and being unsuccessful).

FYI, the Debug menu can be accessed by pressing the Home Key five times, Rewind three times, and then Fast Forward two times.

Hope this helps!

Mini-Display Adaptor? Does this mean that it won't be compatible with the old MacBook/MacBook Pros and pretty much every other Apple product before this day?
