Why on earth would a developer give an exclusive to a magazine which only dedicates half a page of space to games per issue, when there are literally dozens of gaming magazines which are far better, and more widely read by gamers?

How on earth could they possibly say that completely ripping off RE4 and breaking the single player campaign is too ambitious?
I would say it's the exact opposite; Capcom played it too safe with this game. The only innovative thing they did was add online co-op, which sadly looks like it has come at the expense of the single player campaign. I mean really, why not add online co-op, but make the single player campaign a solo effort, instead of forcing you to babysit a retarded sidekick.
I'm sorry, but this is not a day-one purchase for me.

Jul 25th 2008 12:56PM The last delay wasn't because of Microsoft's certification process but rather because microsoft found some bugs that Criterion hadn't. They are now in the process of fixing these.
The annoying thing is that Bogart was initially recalled from the 360 version cos it was borked too; maybe Criterion need to focus on the 360 version a little more.

May 12th 2008 1:13PM Yep, sounds like bullsh*t to me! If Nintendo were to release a new Kid Icarus game I doubt this is the direction it would take - it would probably be more light-hearted fare (in which you had to lose 50lb's and "improve your brain" to complete. Man, they've really lost the plot recently, and it pains me to say that cos I used to be a huge Nintendo fan. Lame!

Mar 26th 2008 6:28PM Am I the only person who thought Res evil 4 actually controlled better with the GC pad? I dont know why, but there were a lot of little things (like the cursor disappearing to the corner of the screen after you left the equipment screen - usually just as some Ganado was about to smash your face in) that really annoyed me about the wii controls.
Also, so far the footage IS just resi 4 with better graphics - which would be cool if I hadn't already played resi 4 to death (and then some). It is still early days though, and I'm still really excited about this.

WiiWare dev: XBLA is 'full of sh*t' {Joystiq}
Mar 18th 2008 1:46PM well i've been a huge Nintendo fan for years so don't all attack me at once, but even if that statement were true, at least it's only applicable to XBLA. The 360 has an awesome selection of (retail) games. The Wii, on the other hand, has much more than it's fair share of shovelware. I can't imagine that Wiiware will be any different at all. Time will tell Mr anonymous developer - if that is, indeed, your real name.
