I am a US subscriber. It is worth every penny, and while Joystiq is a great source for breaking game news, Edge is still the best place for editorial content, reviews and development articles.

A good proportion of the gaming industry regularly reads the magazine, so I think that's a pretty good indicator of quality.

I remember first subscribing following a preview of Wipeout 2097. I wrote a letter to one of the artists involved based on his work shown in the magazine, asking how to get into all that new-fangled computer animationy stuff. He never replied, but I gave him so much crap years later when I started work in the same company as him!

He still apologises for his silence, to this day.

If Sony hadn't got itself into this position, then these questions would never have been asked. I am sure the machine will still do very well at launch, but for the first time I will not be one of those purchasing a system. I couldn't be happier with my 360, and really don't see the point in spending a ridiculous sum of money on a Sony machine that fails to deliver content. That's not to say it won't, but I owned a PS2 (bought at launch) for a year before buying a PS2 game, and have just sold my PSP (also bought at launch) for again having no solid library to draw from.

The PS2 has had some great stuff over its production run, but for launch, being burnt twice is enough for me, thanks Sony. Good luck to you. I look forward to seeing the next Ico Team game in 2 years time!

It may be an advertisement for a position already filled within Blizzard, for someone who is applying for legal permanent worker status with the company as sponsor. Such an advertisement is a requirement before filing for labour certification.
