My gaming present was a Nintendo DS Lite, packaged with Guitar Hero On Tour. Slightly annoyingly it has the Guitar Hero logo branded on it, but meh, a DS is a DS!

I'm also getting New Super Mario Bros tomorrow (courtesy of my aunt/uncle). No Wii games this year because I'm not taking it to university with me until my second year.

There's a worrying lack of Deadly Creatures and The Conduit in this list...

Skate It is out this week too.

And so WiiWare's golden streak finally comes to an end (I haven't played either of those games, but Gameloft's WiiWare output is generally mediocre and any game with Yummy Yummy in the title is doomed to failure. Plus, I'm a cynical bastard)

Hopefully next week we'll be back on track, WiiWare is in its golden age at the moment!

Anyone else notice the TM after 'Disaster' on the side of the box? Could this mean that if successful, this could be a franchise?

Yes, there isn't enough material by them to build a game around, and yes, they're even less popular than Aerosmith, but the guitar riffs on most of their songs are incredibly catchy and sound like they would be incredibly fun to play. E.g.

I'd love to see a Franz Ferdinand-themed one, despite what people would think. Or, at the very least, a Franz Ferdinand track pack as DLC on the next game.

They absolutely have to put Yoshi's Island on there. It's the game I've been waiting for ever since the VC was first announced. That and Majora's Mask.
