Snoopy swoops to Wii

If only he was a world war II flying ace then they could use the wholly inappropriate title: Snoopy wWii Flying Ace

Wii Fanboy Review: Mega Man 9

Sep 24th 2008 9:03PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I've played for hours and I can only beat galaxy man. Of course this is only the second mega man game I've played extensively besides mm2. I'm determined to at least beat the 9 robot masters. If you are trying to quit smoking do not play this game. Also Jewel Man's spikey death room is hard, I can't figure out how to beat it.

ScummVM now has limited GameCube and Wii support

Sep 2nd 2008 11:29PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Yeah this article seems wildly inaccurate. Am I reading something wrong? I've been playing sam and max, day of the tentacle, and fate of atlantis for months on my wii with ScummVM. In fact when I downloaded the homebrew channel it came with ScummVM and it was already capable of running theses games.

Video comparison shows Dead Rising taken down by Hitman

Aug 26th 2008 11:02PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Ok. Hitman AI: People run away. Dead Rising AI: People lumber towards you. What AI do zombies need? Zombies are inherently unintelligent. Also the "zombies" in hitman aren't zombies they're just people at a giant street party (mardi gras?)

Dead Rising: Fewer zombies, same ol' carnage

Whats up with the repetitive "daaaaghhhh!" sound he makes when swinging that big wooden thing (bench?) I really hope they record more sounds by the time the game is released.

Welcome to 2000: DVD video playback enabled via homebrew!

Be patient. It takes over a minute to load for me. The first time I did it, I pressed play, but nothing happened, so I went back to my computer to go bitch about it on the interwebs, but before I could I heard it playing in the other room.

I'm not entirely sure what to do to install this. What I think I should do is move the installer.dol file to a folder in the apps folder of my sd card and rename it boot.dol, and then run it through the homebrew channel. And then with the mplayer folder in my apps folder, just go ahead and run the mplayer boot.dol from the HBC menu. Is this the right way to do this? I guess I'm just confused because I've never had to run an installer first, and I'm a little hesitant because this is new and I don't want a big ol white brick next to my tv (which fortunately doesn't seem to be the case)
