As my name implies, yes I do own a 360 (as with a Wii). I have always liked the playstation brand and plan on owning a PS3 by the end of the month. But one thing I have found troubling with this console cycle is the rampant fanboism of both 360 and PS3 owners (though it looks more rampant from the PS3 side of things, just my observation).

I don't want to be a "troll" but what is so bad about the 360? Not talking about the hardware problems (which is BS anyway you look at it) and the same can be said about firmware updates that brick PS3s.

xBL vs PSN: You get what you pay for.

Games: As far as I'm concerned the PS3 and 360 both offer two different experiences with the games they provide that are exclusive (also which is the most important thing in the first place).

Wii- contrary to popular belief, it is a "next-gen" console! Both MS and Sony are (or have) copied nintendo in some aspect and I guess the big N is doing something right.

BTW when I do get my PS3 (sonystyle.com has a offer that when you sign-up for there credit card, the first purchase on aanything $299 or over they give you a $100 credit, a $300 40 gig PS3!!) the first games I'm getting are MGS4, Rachet and Clank, Warhawk, and either Resistance or Uncharted (so good opinions on either R1 or Uncharted whould be great).

I hope like last time with SanAndreas that the game gets released 5 hours early but I can wait untill midnight.

Netflix, XBL, PSN, ITunes, and Steam. I think if anyone should worry is the brick-and-mortar stores. Still you can't beat unwrapping a new game.

So let me get this straight: Beheading and graphically maiming someone (unnatural) is ok but seeing a man and a woman having sex (which is natural) is wrong.
If the game has porno type sex in it then I can see where it can be offensive but if it's done tastefully then there's no big deal about it. If parents don't want there kids (or themselves) to see it then they should do some research about it.

PS3 and 360 owners should band together and boycott this crap. If we as gamers let EA getaway with this then whats next from them? Will we have to pay for each level, story, physics, and unlockables after we "unlocked" it.
EA has gone over board on this and it is not acceptable at all. We don't need Ubisoft or Activision to get any ideas from EA on this crap.
Also wasn't EA Sports old slogon used be "if it's in the game, then it's in the game"

When you buy a new 360 there's a card offering you to buy a extended warranty (2years) after the one year runs out. IT covers RROD, disc read errors and a bunch of other crap. The only ppl that complain are the ones who toss that crap aside and not think to themselves about, "instead of blowing $60 for a game maybe I should send MS that $60 dollars just in case shit happens with the console."

Doing that saved my ass $100 when my 2 year old daughter decided to whack my 360 with a 3 lbs flashlight. It's safe to say that I got ALOT of disc read errors and the drive was making a grinding noise when it slowed down and guess what happened after I called MS; they replaced the console free of charge (and there was no rrod).

So instead of bitching about spending a $100 for a repair maybe ppl should take the time and look and read over all the crap that's stuffed into the box of 360 and consider spending $60 for a piece of mind instead of buying another game and getting screwed for a possible $100 down the road.

I'm glad I sent them money for the extended warranty and that doesn't expire untill April of next year. I learned my lesson with consoles; pay extra for the manufactures extended warranty and don't have to worry about crap like mentioned in the article.

FourZeroTwo was on Major Nelson's podcast and he said it would be a 21 day exclusive for the 360 owners.

I hate demons because only something truly evil could come up with Monday and that's why I like to slay them.
