ARGH! The lack of Layton here in the States is killing me. Oddly enough, I saw a commercial a couple nights ago with the girl from friends and some other women playing Layton and the Curious Village on what appeared to be a DSi. They only mentioned Layton though and not the system.

I'd agree with you, they both look good. Though my retro roots are more inclined to the "old-school" style.

Anything that's even remotely related to Working Designs is worth looking at. WD was my favorite developer in the Saturn/early PS1 era. The time I spent with Dragon Force *sighs* somebody should remake that. Or revitalize the series...

I'm really not a huge FPS fan. I did enjoy RE4 and the Metroid Prime series though. And just for good measure I'm going to pull out a real gem that most people have never heard of... Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold.
