Germans rate Death Tank for XBLA

Aug 13th 2008 11:52AM (Joystiq)
Actually, deformable is the wrong word. Worms terrain deforms too, but in Death Tank gravity is applied to the terrain too and if you nuke a tank that's sitting on the side of a steep surface, the land above it will also fall down on top of the tank and fill the hole that was left.

A great laugh was chasing someone who was desperately trying to get away with a guided nuke - with you doing the guiding.

Germans rate Death Tank for XBLA

OMFG!

Death Tank was an amazing game, made by one of the Powerslave/Exhumed developers in his spare time.

We never got the original over here in the EU (wasn't included in Exhumed) but we did get Zwei. Awesome.

Imagine a real-time game of Worms with deformable terrain and you're pretty much there.

Ready at Dawn says goodbye to their PSP devkits

Getting custom firmware on my PSP was super easy. You don't need rare games, you don't need a spare PSP or anything else that's falsely claimed on here.

All you need is 1 "magic memory stick" and 1 pandora battery. You can make your own magic memory stick from a normal stick by following some simple instructions, and you can either make a pandora battery from a spare or pick one up for about a tenner.

My PSP will now play anything I throw at it.

I still buy all my games though as I prefer to own them, and also believe in supporting the industry. I only use the benefits of CFW to run homebrew games and applications.

I also own a PSP Slim which I'm keeping for official firmware because it's updated more regularly, and yes I know that a Slim can be cracked just as easily.

In other words, he's agreeing with you.

Report: Only 11% of Wii games score above 80%

Surely by definition a bad game would be one that scores below 50%, not 60%?

ESA Foundation offering $45K in game dev scholarships

Yay, more positive discrimination that gives people jobs not because they are necessarily the best at what they do, but because they have the right skin colour or the right sex.

Positive discrimination is still discrimination and as such is wrong. It should be banned in ALL forms. The people who should be getting this money are the ones who excel at their chosen field and who NEED it the most, irrespective of skin colour or sex.

When the hell will society wake up to this?
