I think that this is a serious issue. It will only be a matter of time before Joystiq reports of a case of an Austrailan gamer being prosecuted for importing a game refused classification.

Renegade theatre owners that show films that have been refused classification have been arrested in Australia.

The government prefers soft-targets like consumers in these matters. Take a look at the way music piracy was prosecuted.

As an Australian gamer I would urge my fellow Australian gamers to exercise caution and look to alternative ways to attack these dracion laws.

Please note Australians that import the game are breaking the law and can be prosecuted by zealous a Department of Customs.

It is only matter of time before an Australian who imports a game that has been refused classification is prosecuted by a government that is clearly attempting to make a (misguided) attempt to regulate media.

I am surprised by the extent that the developers are seeking to alienate their non-North American customer base.
Its a great line if you have got the game but as an Australian it makes me dismayed and angry.

I wouldn't expect tool to be in the game. But I can hope...

For people that don't know of tool just youtube them and listen to the depth of sound. The drumming is amazing. I hope tool ends up in one of the games. Maybe their people would only agree if 3 songs were put in the game.

I wouldn't worry that much. Rock band isn't turning any Australians into drummers. They won't release the game here.

As an Austrailan I can only continue to be disgusted. EB games is selling accessories for a game that may never come to Australia!
