Metroid Prime 3 was hands-down one of the best games on both Gamecube and Wii.

1. Graphics were the best I've seen on any Nintendo Console
2. The control mechanism was unparalleled at the time of its release
3. The game played, on average, for a solid 20 hours. If you spent time collecting objects or doing side missions, such as scanning objects, play-time increases drastically.
4. The musical score was phenomenal. I actually wanted to purchase a couple of the pieces for my iPod! (Especially the intro and Bryyo ones!)
5. The addition of hypermode really added to the overall package of the Prime series. Switching to it came with a cost, but was well worth the energy loss.

The only downside I could ever find against the game was that it lacked a multiplayer component, but other than that it was by far one of the greatest.

You know what just occurred to me?
Maybe the reason they decided to go with the disc is due to hacks and wad sharing over the internet...a disc would be much harder to hack or share over the internet.

I agree. The only other "console" i have is a PC, and it needs a new graphics card to handle any good FPS games. So, im pretty much stuck with whatever comes out on Wii, which right now is everything but FPS and racing, two of my favorite genres.

And to think that the controller is perfect for BOTH of those genres...

I tried playing Tatsunoko vs Capcom, but i couldnt get over the Japanese language. Is there any way to change the language to English?

So my question is, is the card a typical SD card with a different sticker, or is it actually better in performance in any way?

I would have to say the Wiimotes and Nunchuks themselves! Several sites have proven that the internal tech of a Wiimote is only worth about $10 to produce, and they sell them for $40? Not to mention, most games require a Nunchuk too, meaning it will end up costing you $180 for 4 full controllers (including the one that comes in the box with the console), which is over half of the cost of the original console itself. Seriously, Nintendo, drop the price of the Wiimote, or make a nice bundle with Wiimote/Nunchuk for less than $60.

However, I am really excited about the MotionPlus, but am not getting my hopes up. We'll see when it releases.

Yea, that game looked really fun. They originally said late fall, but if winter is true, at least it is coming out.

A little off topic, but does anyone else think that HVS is busy with too many projects right now?

Um, last time I checked, everything Ninty's R&D has done looks twice as good as what the Quantum 3 has put out (and don't say i havent played a game with the Quantum 3, because Gyrostarr uses it).

If you haven't played Super Mario Galaxy, you should, because you are definitely missing out on what the Wii is capable of, in terms of graphics, art, audio, and gameplay.

why have their not been any good racing games for the wii, other than mario kart? dont get me wrong, i love mario kart, but i would love some realism, like dirt or gran turismo style games on wii.

with the way the controller works and some good ads, racing games are good hits, cause how many people dont know how to drive (or dont want to know how...if theyre younger than 16)?

I used this cheat, and there are around 80 songs showing, but NO DREAM THEATER!!!!?!?!?! I thought the official set list said Pull Me Under was going to be in the game...maybe you have to beat the game?
