EDGE vs. 3G
Oct 18th 2007 5:03PM (The Brian Alvey Weblog)If you've ever been to the UK and tried our HSDPA connections 3.6Mbps+ (some places have over 7Mbps), you'll never want to use EDGE again. As for latency, it's almost identical to a UMTS or HSDPA network connection in my experience.

The B[ack]log: Coming clean (about Dirt)
Oct 17th 2007 8:35PM (Joystiq)The thing that stops Dirt being a killer game for me though is the frigging menu system - I hate it! The useless 3D effects, the totally pointless orgasmic moans from a computer generated female when you press anything, and the lag! You end up spending just as much time navigating and loading as you do playing. This problem has plagued pretty much every racing game I've ever played. Should have thought it would have been sorted by now.

AT&T survey hints at iChat application for iPhone
Jul 8th 2007 9:09PM (Engadget)We've linked to the direct AT&T survey. Also, one of our writers received the same invitation to complete the survey from AT&T.
It *could* be a fake (and if so, we'll update), but the current evidence says this is real.

May 22nd 2007 12:05PM (Engadget Mobile)Large monitor productivity... what's the largest display I can buy/which one is most productive?
May 19th 2007 5:11PM (The Jason Calacanis Weblog)A 42" Plasma would suck: low resolution (max of 1920x1200), and you can't angle it around your desk (the edges of the screen will feel much further away).
