The real question to me is will they add the "perceived value" without upping the price, or try to grab the extra $500-600 for their short-term profits? Personally, I abhor too much chrome, but if they're at least trying to make the car feel more valuable and keeping them at the same price, that's one step better than the old GM.

I just got an E74 two weeks ago and my Elite is 2 months out of warranty. I should have figured out a way to RROD the console so it'd be fixed free. This is ridiculous for what I paid for that frickin' console.

Master Chief re-entered the atmosphere and survived, for cripe's sake. What's a little couple hundred foot fall after that??
