This game like Operation Flashpoint were on my rent before buying list due to a UC2 and MW2 all within the next 35 days. I don't blame them for delaying it, especially after FO3 add on content was released for the PS3 last week. Had I not sold my FO3 copy (getting goty edition later this year) I would have picked up the addon in lieu of another $60 purchase no questions asked.

I suspected all along Alpha would have been an exceptional used game purchase next spring..looks like that is delayed as well.

Agreed. The amount of hosts that leave a TSNE game the moment they get cqc'd without designating a host is just plain awful. The lagging is also horrendous, in one game the host captured the gecko then a couple minutes later everyone got the red connection notice and suddenly the game was over with the gecko over the goal by the host.

In the next round, he was cqc'd and immediately quit the game without designating a host. When I sent it to Konami they said I needed video evidence.

And why wouldn't a typical credit card gift card (visa ex) work in lieu of a PSN gift card? No worries as I believe a 7-11 near me has PSN cards, but not all are as fortunate.

I too call bs on this post as well. If you think cqc is lame, then you never successfully inserted an SOP in MGO team sneak which is a shame. When done correctly, it is the greatest moment in gaming for me at the moment. Good attempt at rationalizing your loss however.
