This is actually a pretty nice idea. One thing I've always hated about starting a western RPG is that I've had to tinker around for like an hour with what kind of a character I'd create. They don't make it any easier by having you choose for example which god you pray to in addition to all the class and attribute choices.

Has anyone actually tried this patch and seen any difference in visual quality? Or are we still doing the whole console war thingy.

People will probably put all the cutscenes up on youtube and fansub them eventually, so don't worry, you will find out what will happen. It's just the game part you'll be missing out on.

Times like these make me satisfied that I ever started learning the language. My copy's in the mail as we speak.

And in Europe AC is 15 euros. I don't get it.
