Joyswag: Moon prize pack [update]

Easy - the first Halo. Was never really into FPS shooters until I played this game, which was I guess now, ages ago.

Atlus draws us into the dungeon with free Dark Spire soundtrack disc

I wish Squenix would take a page from Atlus and provide some extra stuff with all their remakes - but they know people will buy their stuff anyway.

This is an easy question - it would have to be...Tecmo Bowl! Down! Set! HutHutHutHutHutHutHutHutHutHutHutHutHutHutHut...sorry. Got a little carried away there.

DS Daily: Ys or no

I remember Y's for the TurboGrafx 16 producing a memorable gaming moment back in the day - it was the first game I had ever played that had voice. I remember being amazed at the cut scene where a character is speaking to your character - it was almost if she was speaking directly to you, since she was facing the 'camera'. Pretty cutting edge at the time...and yes, I know I'm old school.

But other than having character voice, I can't remember the game being interesting enough to want to play remake. Seeing some of footage reminded me that it was kind of like Zelda at hyper-speed.

I did play the original on the SNES. In fact, it was my introduction to the FF franchise!

Phantasy Star, please.

Thank you.

Also, some remakes of the old SSR games, like Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday. Now that was a great game.

Well, I'll tell you young whippersnapper....it was way back in 1979. Jimmy Carter was still president, gas was 50 cents a gallon, and we didn't have this new fangled internet thing...

Those were the good times, I tell you!

DS Daily: All good things

I ususally trade those bad boys in. I know you only get a fraction of the original cost, but it's better then nothing. I'd rather get $10 off a new game than let an unplayed game sit there and collect dust...

However, good games like Advance Wars get kept in the vault!
