So, from what I've been reading, Criterion's Need For Speed game seems to be a Burnout game with a new name slapped on it.

@peternography You're referring to a point in G4's history where they were beginning to start sucking, after Comcast thought it would be a good idea to merge G4 and TechTV.

I'm talking 2002 - 2003 G4 when they still had Cory Rouse and Scot Rubin.

This is especially funny because that's exactly what happened to G4.

I miss their early years when they were a scrappy new TV channel with two hours of new content a day and 18 hours of reruns. Sure, it was full of reruns, but the whole thing had character. The promos, the logos, it was all very nice. And it had Cinematech, one of the best ideas for a TV show I've ever seen.

It seems to me that the issue now is that now that laptops are big, gaming laptops are what people will want. The problem there is no one builds their own gaming laptops because no one builds their own laptops, so companies like Alienware can get off selling two thousand dollar desktop replacements because people are willing to pay twelve hundred dollars for the convenience of carrying their computer around.
