No go on my netbook or 64bit desktop.
Thinking it may be related to IE9 RC installation.

@kojo87 I have a feeling they would prefer you not hog IO resources, but as long as they are getting paid it won't be a huge deal. Just don't expect them to shield you if you get busted torrenting james cameron's latest blockbuster.

Yes, auto restarts are annoying. So is dealing with a friend who never restarts their PC preventing updates from installing. It's a case of Microsoft making a play for the lowest common denominator. You're aware enough to change the settings so do it.

Google outlaws Windows, but what if Microsoft outlaws Google...?

I have a feeling this has way less to do with security and much more to do with Google developing it's alternatives to Windows services. After all OS X is a *nix style operating system and my understanding is that the tools that work in Linux also work on OSX, though I could be wrong, where on Windows you can get *nix tools running under Cygwin I'm not sure that they run as well. I see Google offering employees OSX as a half hearted effort to pull away from the mainstream OS offerings and placate the Apple fans and Linux haters in their employ.

Lower Merion, PA school district denouement nears: report denies spying charges

@j3oomerang macbook requires 7 keystrokes laptop requires 6, properly spelled MacBook the camel case lettering brings it to 9 keystrokes. So in fact it is quantifiably harder, and we all know the poor writer is getting close to carpal tunnel so they are trying to delay the onset for as long as possible.

Also a MacBook is a laptop so get over yourself, unless you want everyone to type the series name of their machines in place of the generic name of the machine.
