@(Unverified) - No, it's both. I work for Best Buy, and we got the alert yesterday saying we could sell both versions starting yesterday rather than waiting until Tuesday.

My store - a fairly large store, actually - only received about 5 copies for Xbox and even less than that for PS3. A small handful of stores don't "qualify" for the game to be sent to their store. However, if your store doesn't have them, they can get it ordered for you.

@Granger - I would love to know who started that saying, where it's being used and in what context, because I've never heard of that phrase, and I would never - EVER - use that in any conversation.

...a little over 2 months away. Nintendo is going to hold everything they possibly can for their conference to lead attention away from whatever Sony and Microsoft are showing off.

I'm fine with the trickling, but holy crap, Iwata better drop the bomb this year; that infamous image out there on the interweb has to be put to good use one year...

@Liquidfingers - If there are enough features to differentiate it beyond a simple port, I will be buying this on the Wii U later this year.

AC3 is one game I want to see treated differently. I want them to take use of the extra horsepower it has. If the bevy of announced titles for the system - Darksiders II, Batman: AC, Metro: Last Night - have any extra features in their Wii U versions, then they will be repurchased or even purchased only on the Wii U.

I can see this being a HUGE benefit, but imagine trying to scan, say, a boss creature, and you're holding the Pad up in the air to scan it while trying to skirt around it's attacks.

It'd be annoying, unless - while in Scan mode - the game freezes, or your surroundings (not your actions) slows down to accomodate for the Pad scans.
