Assassin's Creed: Revelations DLC named, priced, dated by GameStop

Feb 17th 2012 7:23PM (Joystiq)
@mywhitenoise - Maybe this week, considering it's on sale for $30 at Best Buy.

Regardless, $15 seems a bit much for campaign DLC, unless there's a lot of scope with it; if it's the rumored first-person Desmond sequences and only that, then I'm waiting for a DOTW special.

Halo 4 to feature one heavy Master Chief

When I hear "800 pounds of tank and jet fighter", I immediately think to an older Ubisoft statement on GR: Future Soldier that each soldier is an "F16 on legs".

With that in mind, where's our shoulder-mounted rocket launchers?

@zOMGREI - I would upvote you, but your comment is already blue. So, I'll do the only logical thing: press it some more.

Resident Evil 'Revelaitons' misprint makes it to retail [Update: Capcom offers statement, replacement]

Feb 3rd 2012 10:53PM (Joystiq)
@EndynOmni - Just saw these in our back room at Best Buy, with it's "revelaitons" and all.

Gonna buy it when it comes out. Was going to wait a little bit, but with the pre-release $10 price drop, plus the misprinted packaging, this could very well end up being worth a little extra money down the road.

@Doublethink - Let me introduce to you...Image 2 in the gallery.

The Vita could have been thinner, or huge, or a clamshell

@Dcmac - That's exactly what I'm waiting for. Better games (I'm only interested in Uncharted and Super Stardust right now) and a sub-$200 price.

Or if Best Buy starts doing their "free Gift Card" with it, then sure, why not?

@Mornstar8 - Northern VA. I've been told that not all Best Buys will be getting the Vita (specifically smaller stores), but stores that do can see up to 2 units.

Sadly, one of our units crapped out today. I was playing Little Deviants with a customer, and menu navigation in the game and on the LiveArea menu was going slow as all hell. I held the power button to turn it off (as in full system shut down), and that circle-made-of-bubbles that spins to show whatever progress being made. The PS Button was flashing blue (that's your indicator, BTW) and that spinning circle was on screen for a few minutes, something that shouldn't happen.

I put it in our AP office on the charger, hoping that it will eventually turn off completely; I signed into my own PSN account to be able to demo internet functionality (PS Store and the Browser haven't been turned on yet by Sony), so I'm hoping that I'll be able to wipe the memory and remove my account.

We just got the demo Vitas at my Best Buy, and for being the first time I've held the Vita, it's not as large as I was thinking, but it's still pretty damned big.

It makes me want one, but the current game lineup isn't enough to get me to drop another $250 on a handheld platform that I won't play past the first game...
