More colors will release in 2012, and Nintendo will let it sell further and 2012 holiday season and 2013 come the start of the year it will have a new version. Maybe 2012 for Japan, but 2013 for sure everywhere else

The casuals will jump ship once something else shinny and new pops up. They can't be relied upon for extended periods of time.

The iphone/android market place aps bubble will burst soon. Casual gamers will only get free games and the advertising $$$ will NOT add up in the long term. Remember my words, THE BUBBLE WILL BURST to iphone/android devices

anyway dedicated portable game systems are non-existent . 3DS and PSP Vita both play mp3s, surf the web, take pictures they are much more varied devices.
but gaming on it.

people complain " I want new content" and Nintendo gives you new content and those people complain " I want new games in previous franchises' The cycle goes on forever and most the people who complain don't even buy the products or play the games they complain about.

Is Nintendo out of touch? Yeah, but are the customers flip floppy complainers who will NEVER be pleased regardless how much they are catered to ? Hell yes.

I played it and beat it on my 3ds and enjoyed this.

NO WAY I would play with ' iphone controls' . Sorry you NEED very precise jumping to complete the game. I can't imagine how frustrating and hard it will be to talk to the mayor on the seaside with broken controls.

I got a solid 5 or so hours and enjoyed it allot. Easily worth the higher pricepoint as a Dsiware game

Well the fact Nintendo uses the Dollar so much you would think they would LISTEN to American and Western thinking.

This is the BIGGEST PROBLEM.

They live in a japanese bubble, they are a japanese company and forcing the lifestyle on the rest of the world. This has worked in the past, pokemon was hot in japan first and jumped over to the rest of the world. However the US has changed the game with iphone and more aggressive Microsoft and 1st person shooters.

What does this mean? End and Doom and Gloom NO WAY, just that Nintendo can't FOCUS its energy in Japan anymore. All the extras Japan gets, should be America and the rest of the world's to enjoy.

Nintendo must focus on the rest of the world, Sorry but Japan is a niche market.

I want channels .

The Wii channels would make a great fit for 3DS and spot pass.
Facebook, Youtube, etc but I doubt nintendo will do this :-(

I think this will be worth the pricetag, did you see the video it has several modes and online play so it's much more than a quick port.
